Key Points for High-Speed Rope & Tape Looms in Production

High-speed rope and tape braiding machines use VFD stepless speed control, sensitive end-break stop, synchronized core-feeding and core-break control, with low energy consumption and high output. They are widely used to braid various round and flat elastic and non-elastic ropes and tapes: shoelaces, elastic bands, decorative tapes, high-tensile tapes, fishing net lines, fishing lines, tow ropes, marine ropes, sports tapes, curtain tapes, wires and fibers.

Key point 1 – Sudden stops: If the machine stops suddenly during braiding, it is usually because the yarn has broken or run out. Handle it accordingly and restart to continue braiding.

Key point 2 – Shielding layer defects: If a non-conforming shielding layer is detected during braiding, stop immediately, remove the metal wire braid over that section, then resume normal braiding.

Key point 3 – Quality control: Strictly follow the process card issued to the machine, control process parameters and keep inspection records.

Key point 4 – Yarn splicing marks: During operation, one full package should run from one end to the other. If an internal joint must be cut, note the reason on the mark and record the front-section length.

Finally, to improve quality and efficiency, keep the yarn lay neat and tightly arranged without crossing or overlapping.
